Bell Registry – Terms & Conditions of Use

Welcome to Bell Registry, operated by Estate Services Registry, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Bell Registry is a private platform that connects Clients, Agencies, and Professionals in the private service industry. By accessing or using Bell Registry, you agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).

Please review these Terms carefully. By creating an account, purchasing access, posting a job, or using the platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

Bell Registry serves three primary user groups:

  • Clients – Individuals or families seeking to hire staff or engage service providers for their private homes, estates, yachts, or family offices.
  • Agencies – Third-party recruiting or staffing companies using Bell Registry to identify Professionals for their Clients.
  • Professionals – Individuals or independent service providers offering expertise.
    • This may include those seeking employment opportunities (“Candidates”) as well as those offering contracted or independent services.

2. Purpose & Intended Use

Bell Registry facilitates meaningful, discreet connections between Clients, Agencies, and Professionals in the private service industry.

Permitted Use:

  • Clients and Agencies may:
    • Browse Professional profiles.
    • Post job openings.
    • Contact Professionals for potential employment or contracted services.
  • Professionals may:
    • Create and maintain profiles.
    • Access resources and participate in the message board community.
    • Network with other Professionals.

Prohibited Use:

  • Data scraping, harvesting, or mass outreach.
  • Sharing, selling, or distributing Professional profile information outside your organization without written consent.
  • Spam, marketing solicitations, or bulk messaging unrelated to genuine hiring or service opportunities.
  • Any activity that violates applicable labor laws or ethical practices in the private service industry.

Bell Registry reserves the right to monitor usage and suspend or terminate accounts at its sole discretion for violations of these Terms.

3. Access & Usage of Professional Profiles

Browsing Profiles

  • Clients and Agencies may browse Professional profiles to identify potential hires or service providers.

Bell Registry monitors how profiles are accessed to ensure fair and appropriate use. Excessive viewing, copying, or misuse of Professional profile information is prohibited. Bell Registry reserves the right to limit, restrict, or suspend access at its discretion if these Terms are violated.

Contacting Professionals

  • Users agree to contact only those Professionals they genuinely believe may be a good fit for an opportunity or engagement.
  • All communications must be professional, respectful, and non-harassing.
  • Automated tools or bulk outreach methods are prohibited.

4. Professional Engagement & Employment Standards

Bell Registry is not an employer of Professionals and does not:

  • Supervise, manage, or direct any Professional’s work.
  • Guarantee the accuracy of a Professional’s profile or qualifications.
  • Set pay rates, benefits, or employment terms.

All agreements or engagements occur directly between the Client, Agency, and Professional.

Expectations for Clients & Agencies

  • Provide compensation that reflects current market benchmarks for the Professional’s experience and role.
  • Offer a safe, legal, and respectful workplace or service environment.
  • Comply with all applicable labor and employment laws.

Prohibited Conduct

  • Employing or engaging Professionals under illegal, unethical, or unsafe conditions.
  • Withholding wages or benefits owed under applicable laws.
  • Creating hostile or discriminatory working environments.

5. Payments, Fees & Refund Policy

Membership Fees

  • Access to Professional profiles requires a paid membership.
  • Membership is valid for the period purchased and automatically expires at the end of the term unless renewed.

Job Posting Fees

  • Clients may choose to post jobs individually without a membership by paying a job posting fee.

Payment Terms

  • All fees must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
  • Bell Registry does not guarantee a hire or specific outcome.

Refunds

  • All payments are non-refundable, including memberships and job postings, even if a hire is not made or a position is filled through another source.

6. Data Privacy & Confidentiality

  • Professional profiles and contact information are for internal hiring and networking purposes only.
  • Users may not share, resell, or publicly post Professional information without prior written consent.
  • Bell Registry may monitor activity to ensure compliance and protect user privacy.

7. Message Board Access

Bell Registry provides a private message board exclusively for Professionals to connect, share resources, and network.

Message Board Rules:

  • Posts must be respectful, professional, and free of abusive, discriminatory, or harassing language.
  • No private client information or identifying details may be shared without explicit consent.
  • Spam, solicitation, or self-promotion is prohibited unless pre-approved by Bell Registry.

Moderation & Disclaimer:

  • Bell Registry does not pre-approve all posts before publication.
  • Users are responsible for their own content.
  • Bell Registry may remove posts or ban users at its sole discretion for violations.
  • Bell Registry is not liable for user-generated content or any harm resulting from information shared on the message board.

8. Termination of Access

Bell Registry reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or permanently terminate any account without notice or refund for violations of these Terms.
  • Restrict future access to Users who have misused the platform.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • Bell Registry provides its platform “as is”, without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of Professional profiles or job postings.
  • Bell Registry shall not be liable for:
    • Employment disputes between Clients, Agencies, and Professionals.
    • Any damages resulting from the use or inability to use the platform.
    • Actions, performance, or conduct of any Professional, Client, or Agency.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of these Terms or use of the platform shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Mateo County, California.

11. Modifications to Terms

Bell Registry may update or modify these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
